Taher Gado joined Apex in May, 2019 as Health, Safety and Environmental Manager. Prior to joining Apex, Taher was working as a Consultant with the HSE Capacity Building Program initiated by the Minister of Petroleum as part of the Egyptian Oil and Gas sector modernization program.

He began his career as a MWD/LWD Field Engineer for five years then started a career in HSE in 2001 with British Gas in Egypt and later Transglobe in Egypt along with several temporary international assignments.

Taher received his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Alexandria University and master’s in environmental, health and safety management from University of Portsmouth. He also earned a post graduate diploma in safety, risk and reliability engineering from Heriot Watt University and a national general certificate from NEBOSH in the UK.
