Tom Everitt joined Apex in July 2024 based in Cairo as Vice President, Engineering.  He also serves as the General Manager and Managing Director of PetroFarah, the Joint Venture company between Apex and Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation.

Prior to Apex, Tom brings more than 30 years’ experience in the upstream petroleum industry, primarily with Shell, in several locations covering the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, Asia and Middle East/North Africa, including 6+ years in Egypt.  His previous roles included leadership positions in general management and project management with a solid track record of adding tangible value in development, reservoir management, operations and asset planning.

Tom holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University.
