Apex is led by a world-class management team located in Cairo and Houston with vast industry experience in Egypt and the Western Desert. Many of our senior management team played a significant role in the success of one of the largest oil producers in Egypt and subsequently established Apex attracted by the opportunities for a well-funded, experienced operator in the MENA region. From signing its first exploration concession agreement in 2017, discovering oil, growing production and closing a transformative acquisition to become Egypt’s 8th largest oil producer in 5 years, the Apex management team has a proven track record of delivering exploration, development, production and M&A results in Egypt.
